About this painting

Reef is inspired by the colours and textures of shallow tropical waters. The pale, sandy texture at the top gradually gives way to turquoise, deep blues and finally darker undersea formations, where vibrant marine life flourishes.

Although this abstraction remains open to interpretation, it is intended to evoke a gentle sense of calm.
